Our Prepa Bac programme provides you with an intensive week of preparation for your Baccalauréat both in the classroom and in a social family enviroment.
The week long programme includes 24 hours of formal English language lessons in small groups of less than 12 students. You can expect to study lots of newspaper articles with some of the sessions spent discussing and talking about them in depth. We will also help you develop your writing with clarity around your chosen topics and give you lots of oral practice including question and answer sessions.
Experienced tutors and Baccalauréat exam practice
Our experienced tutors will be focused on preparing you for your Baccalauréat exam and so you will get lots of time for exam practice. We work alongside "Les Annales du Bac Anglais" so you can be assured that your course will be developing the correct skills to prepare you fully for your exam.
All of our Tutors are qualified (having gained a PGCE or hold the relevant TEFL Certificate such as Celta, Delta or TESOL) and have many years experience in teaching English. You will be given a profile, and other useful information, about your teacher before you arrive but click here to find out more about our Tutors.
Learning with some fun mixed as well
Although the learning programme is intensive you also get the chance to experience the local area, including vibrant Brighton, and spend a day seeing some of the top attractions in the capital, London.
For some school aged students staying away from home can be a new experience which is why staying with a family provides such an excellent and safe environment for them to study and have fun.
We place students with local host families of a good professional and educational background in good residential areas. These host families will always be within close walking distance or a short bus ride to the school. If a short bus ride is required we will ensure that the student is staying close to others on the same course so that they can travel together.
