Homestay Tuition - learning built around you

Learn or improve your English on our flexible Homestay Programme that is built around your needs, from beginner to business English.

As the Homestay name implies, you learn English in the home of your tutor. So not only do you get focussed lessons you also have the opportunity to put your learning in to practice in a relaxed social environment - the best way to learn. The Homestay Tuition programme is flexible to meet the needs of all our students including:

• Learning programmes for Children (from age 11) to Adults
• General English, Business English, Exam English and also Aviation English (ICAO standard)
• Your choice of formal lessons for between 10 and 30 hours per week
• 1 to 1 learning or lessons with a friend (2 to 1 learning)

Qualified and Experienced Tutors

All of our Tutors are qualified (having gained a PGCE or hold the relevant TEFL Certificate such as Celta, Delta or TESOL) and have many years experience in teaching English. While every course is built around the students needs, all of our Tutors have an extensive course framework and teaching support material to make sure that they can give the most effective and successful training. Above all, the aim is to make the lessons interesting as well as well as developing your English skills.

We take particular care and effort to match your needs to the right Homestay teacher and you will be given a profile, and other useful information, of your teacher before you arrive. We undertake regular visits of all our host families/teachers to ensure that they are up to date with the latest teaching methods and are providing the highest standards of care for the students.

You choose how much tutor time you need

Your teaching can be as little as 10 hours a week, up to a maximum of 30 hours.  However, we find that most students aim for 15 hours a week so that they can enjoy the lessons and also their time in England.  You can come for a week, or more - it's entirely your decision.

A choice of locations in England

Our Homestay Tuition programme has centres in Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Essex and Cambridge. All of the Centres are close to a UK main airport (including Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted) and Eurostar services are also within easy reach.

Homestay package

Your Homestay Tuition package includes:

• The agreed amount of Tuition (from 10 to 30 hours per week)
  
• Full board accommodation
  
• Two informal half day outings, such as a walk, shopping or a cycle ride
  
• One full day’s cultural excursion
  
• End of Programme Progress Report and Certificate
  
• Support from our Local Co-Ordinator throughout your stay

Should you wish to be collected from the airport, we are able to offer individual transfers. Please ask for further details when booking.

Each package can be tailored to your needs with prices for one week’s tuition and full board accommodation starting from just 465 GBP (approx 548 euros). Additional weeks can be offered at a discount. Please contact us for a specific price to match your requirements.
